Nordconn participates in an ongoing document and mail management renewal at its banking client, the aim of which is to replace an existing system and establish a long-term scalable, unified solution. The focus of the project is to establish a more efficient operation that meets business and regulatory expectations in such a way that the change is as imperceptible as possible from the point of view of everyday use and user experience.

Nordconn’s role in the project is the system analyst preparation. We technically define and design the already explored business needs: we break down expectations at the solution, data, entity, and structure levels to ensure that the implementation is clear, well-prepared, and time-efficient for developers.

So far, the joint work has taken shape in a tangible structure: 20+ Confluence pages of living documentation support the concepts and decisions, and over 200 Product Backlog Items (PBIs) have been completed in 9 months, which detail the development tasks and their status. These artifacts provide a stable foundation for system phase-out and the introduction of the new solution from both technical and architectural perspectives.

The current phase of the project lays the foundations for a platform-independent and future-proof architecture, which in the short term replaces existing solutions without loss of function, and in the longer term provides space for further automation and digitalization developments. The result is a gradually built system that increases operational efficiency while providing a stable framework for future developments.
