The organizational development project at Sigma Technology initially focused on making recruitment more efficient, then encompassed a wide range of management topics supporting company growth, elevating the project to a level of strategic support. The focus of the project extends to handling the process and capacity challenges associated with growth.
In our advisory role, we lead the recruitment process, participate in the preparation of organizational and management decisions, with a special focus on clarifying the roles, responsibilities, and performance expectations necessary for growth. As part of this, a comprehensive “job stages” program was created, which aims at the consistency of management decisions and the long-term controllability of the organization by establishing a new, transparent classification and performance framework. During the project, special emphasis is placed on change management, aimed at the acceptance and embedding of the new operating model.
It was a challenge that developments had to be built on existing systems and tools without significant IT investment. To solve this, an agile approach was applied, and Microsoft Power Automate and AI-based solutions were involved. This resulted in progress especially in administrative and decision-support processes, achieving up to 50% time savings.
As a result of the project, key processes stabilized, while compliance and data management aspects were also strengthened. With the contribution of Nordconn, the successful integration of numerous new employees was realized, which directly contributed to the increase of the team’s capacity and business performance. Efficiency indicators showed improvement: the effectiveness of targeted outreaches and structured channel usage increased significantly compared to the previous year. Central elements of the sourcing strategy supporting growth were LinkedIn, the corporate career page, and the internal referral system.
