Nordconn supports the coordination and continuous development of Health & Safety operations at Wizz Air within a highly complex international environment. The project aims to maintain company-wide occupational health and safety compliance, prevent potential regulatory risks, and establish a stable operational framework capable of managing both day-to-day operational tasks and unexpected extraordinary situations.
To ensure appropriate occupational health and safety conditions, internal audits were conducted across the majority of Wizz Air bases to assess whether operations complied with local health and safety regulations. Solutions also had to be developed for new situations, such as consultations related to the opening of new training centers, as well as extraordinary health-related or regulatory inquiries that required the expansion of previously existing internal procedures.
An important outcome of the project has been strengthening the visibility and deeper integration of the Health & Safety function within the company. Regular, targeted communications support employees’ — particularly flight crew members’ — day-to-day safety awareness, contributing to accident prevention and the avoidance of high-risk situations.
As a result of the collaboration, Wizz Air’s Health & Safety operations are stable, transparent, and well-controlled, avoiding regulatory exposure, ensuring employee safety, and creating a sustainable long-term foundation for the company’s continued safe international operations.
