The goal of the recruitment efficiency-focused project of our client carrying out pharmaceutical activities was to increase the transparency and measurability of recruitment processes. Although the company possessed a comprehensive recruitment system, the business-relevant processing and customized reporting of data required development. The identification of bottlenecks and the objective evaluation of recruiter performance also needed improvement.
In our advisory role, we assessed the available recruitment data, analyzed its content and structure, and then, in cooperation with local IT and the head of the recruitment area, performed data cleansing and data restructuring. Building on these foundations, we developed a customized, Power BI-based reporting system that provides direct business and management decision support.
As part of the solution, an automated data flow was created: data from the source system is downloaded and updated on a daily basis, loaded into Power BI reports via a SharePoint-based intermediate layer. Thanks to this, managers have up-to-date information on the performance of the recruitment process.
The created reports clearly show which recruiters perform outstandingly, where there are areas for development, which positions can be filled easily or with difficulty, and where there is an opportunity to accelerate the process. The cooperation took place in an agile/iterative manner: the first version of the report was followed by further refinements and new report elements, building on Nordconn’s experience in recruitment efficiency.
As a result of the project, our client is able to track its recruitment processes in a data-driven, transparent manner and make targeted decisions to increase efficiency.
